Why is InnerVision’s VCT superior to other multi-detector CT systems?

This 64-slice imaging technique allows for the examination of many times the number of image “slices,” so that clinical findings are less likely to be missed or obscured by other organs or tissues. The higher number of slices translates to much higher resolution (e.g., 64 slices per rotation at less than 0.4 - 0.7 mm resolution).

It collects cubic data sets of the smallest practical volume, which results in superior image quality in 3D and multi-planar reformatting (MPR) for true isotropic resolution (as small as 0.35mm resolution in all directions). The result is volume coverage, which makes the imaging of difficult patients or procedures more routine.

Additionally, the entire coronary tree can now be imaged with extremely high accuracy and detail, and the VCT system is also ideal for vascular, neurovascular, renal and other advanced applications.

ALLEN NALBANDIAN, M.D.
WOMEN’S IMAGING, MRI, CT & ULTRASOUND
Allen Nalbandian, M.D., graduated from medical school and completed his diagnostic radiology residency training at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). He completed a fellowship program in Body Imaging at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Dr. Nalbandian also has extensive experience in all phases of Women’s Imaging, including mammography, breast MRI, Stereotactic and Ultrasound-guided Breast Biopsy procedures. Dr. Nalbandian joined Valley Radiology Consultants in 2000 and serves as President of the group. Dr. Nalbandian is available to all referring physicians to discuss quality, administrative and special patient concerns or explore new clinical relationships for the improvement of patient care. MUSCULOSKELETAL IMAGING
Dmitri Segal, D.O., graduated from medical school at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. He completed his diagnostic radiology residency training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital-Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. After successfully finishing his residency training, Dr. Segal completed a fellowship program in Musculoskeletal Radiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Dr. Segal’s expertise is in all aspects of Musculoskeletal Imaging, including radiography, CT and MRI imaging of bones, joints and soft tissues, and MRI arthrography. Dr. Segal is also proficient in joint injections and lumbar spine epidural steroid injections. Dr. Segal joined Valley Radiology Consultants in 2008.
TIMOTHY FENG, M.D.
BREAST IMAGING, BREAST BIOPSY & NEEDLE LOCALIZATION
Timothy Feng, M.D., graduated from medical school at the University of California, San Diego, and finished his diagnostic radiology residency training at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center in New York. Dr. Feng completed his fellowship program in Mammography and Body Imaging at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. His clinical expertise extends to all areas of breast imaging and biopsy and he is currently working on expanding our services to include new technology - Breast Specific Gamma Imaging (BSGI). Dr. Feng joined Valley Radiology Consultants in 1999. 		MARCUS VAN, M.D.
NEURORADIOLOGY, MUSCULOSKELETAL IMAGING & BODY IMAGING
Marcus Van, M.D., graduated from medical school at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia and finished his diagnostic radiology residency training at the University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center. Dr. Van completed his Magnetic Resonance Imaging fellowship program at the University of California, San Diego. This sub-specialty training in MRI included specific emphasis in Body Imaging, Neuroradiology, and Musculoskeletal Imaging. Dr. Van joined Valley Radiology Consultants in 2007.
  RAYMOND SUNG, M.D.
NEURORADIOLOGIST
Raymond Sung, M.D., is a graduate of the University of Southern California School of Medicine and completed his radiology residency training at Albany Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Sung completed a two-year fellowship program in Neuroradiology, at the University of California, San Diego. In addition to providing extensive training in neuro-diagnostics and MRI, Dr. Sung’s fellowship program included specialized training in spine and pain procedures, covering all areas of image-guided percutaneous interventions, including ESI, facet injections, and other interventional pain management procedures. Dr. Sung joined Valley Radiology Consultants in 2005. In addition to providing sub-specialty expertise for MRI and CT interpretation, Dr. Sung performs pain management procedures.
